びわの実

住宅街を歩いていたら庭先に実をつけたびわの木が植っていた

母に言うと「びわは万能の薬」と昔から言われていて、よく民家に植えられていたそう

実父も義父もびわを好きと言っていた

小さい頃よく食べる機会があったんじゃないかな〜と思った

Loquat fruit

Walking through a residential area, I saw a loquat tree bearing fruit in a yard.

When I told my mother, she said that loquats have long been considered a panacea and were commonly planted in homes.

Both my father and my stepfather said they liked loquats.

I thought they probably had many opportunities to eat them when they were little.
